Bridging The Tech Divide
Unearthing Greatness in Unexpected Places is MpiloTech’s unique intern programme that creates jobs in the Digital Realm for individuals without prior experience in tech. By identifying talent in from all walks of life, we place an importance on attitude above prior technical experience or any educational background. Once brought into the programme candidates are offered training in foundational computer literacy and soon progress onto our Multi eXperience Application Development Platform, VoltMX. Within two years participants progress from Citizen Developers to ProCode Developers whilst also gaining valuable experience in other aspects of the SDLC such as Agile concepts, Business Analysis and Quality Assurance.
At its core, the Unearthing Greatness in Unexpected Places programme seeks to bridge the digital divide that exists in South Africa with the aim of increasing the pool of Digital skills in South Africa.
